We have tried to address the problem of dogs running loose in the park. Unfortunately, some of you have refused to keep your dog(s) on a leash or tether when outside. To those of you who have been following the rules and keeping your dog tethered when outside we want to say "Thank You"!

So beginning April 1, 2025 if your dog is found outside without being on a tether or leash (running loose) you will receive a first warning. If it happens again, you will receive a second and FINAL warning. If it happens a third time you will be given 30 days to permanently remove the dog from the park (meaning the dog can no longer be at the property at any time). If you refuse to remove the dog then you will be evicted. We are DONE with tenants not following the rules with dogs in the park! The tether must be proper length to keep the dog(s) on your lot, so that it cannot go onto a neighbor's lot or the road. If you walk your dog on a leash that is fine but you MUST clean up any dog waste.

This is a WV State Law (dogs must be on a leash, or tether), and it is also a requirement from our insurance carrier for the property. So, this is non-negotiable! It is not hard people... go buy a dog tether and anchor it in the yard or to some secure post or object at your home. Open the door, hookup your dog to the tether, when they come in, let the tether outside the door. It is very simple!

If you see a dog running loose in the park, please take a photo of them and text the photo to us with the name (or lot #) of the owner. 304-370-3260 We will keep your information anonymous.

We want the park to be safe and clean for everyone that lives here and visits. When dogs are running loose, they can go after people (residents, guests, utility workers, etc) or other tenants pets. They can also get hit by a vehicle, etc. For the safety of people and the dogs we will be very strict with enforcing this new policy.
